GHG Inventorization
GHG Inventorization
GHG Inventorization is the starting point for estimating an organization’s carbon footprint and taking targets and actions for reducing emissions. The module is aligned with accounting guidelines provided by the GHG Protocol. The GHG emission warehouse includes emission factors from international sources and also allows users to input custom emission factors applicable for their regions.
Key current and planned features include:
- Inventorization in accordance with GHG Protocol
- Data collection from across the value chain for emissions calculation under Scope 1, 2, and 3
- Latest emission factors from Defra, IPCC, EPA, CEA allowing input customization in emission factors
- Empowering businesses to identify emission hotspots, set reduction targets, and make strategic decisions aligned with sustainability goals
- Facilitates the use of GHG emissions data seamlessly for varied reports
Benefits:
Organizations may not have sufficient internal resources for complex calculations around GHG emissions and similar specialized areas. Use of automation from the platform will help address this.
